The Physician Direct Utilization Management Program ensures that each medical procedure is reviewed by one of our UR/QA board certified staff physicians. This program has three basic components to guarantee excellence in health care medical claims cost containment, and is backed by a staff of rehabilitation and disability management professionals dedicated to superior service. Appropriateness of Services RehabCorp, Inc. is dedicated to determining the most appropriate services necessary. Our physician contacts the treating physician to discuss the case and to determine if the request is indeed a medical necessity. |
Evaluating Treatment
RehabCorp, Inc. provides our physician the opportunity to review the case,
contact the treating physician, if requested, and discuss/negotiate the most appropriate
future treatment plan. This will help to reduce unnecessary treatment
which can provide a better outcome limiting financial exposure before these
treatment fees are incurred.

Monitoring Progress
RehabCorp, Inc., provides our physicians the opportunity to review the entire
file and to determine what treatment was really medically necessary. |
